One of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time (maybe even in my life thus far) at Anime North 2012, and I was able to capture some cosplayers in front of the Toronto Congress Centre dancing to the popular “Caramelldansen”. Couldn’t catch them when they started but I got the most of it. Enjoy the video and hope to see you all at the con next year!
So here’s my first shot at a full length AMV. I decided to Mash the footage from the anime Angel Beats! and Sum41’s “The Hell Song”. Had quite a lot of fun making it, hopefully I will make another one…soon. Enjoy!
I really don’t know what to make of this show, its like an over the top version of Suite Precure mixed in with a bit of Nanoha or Madoka. First off, I was not impressed with how they spoiled the fact that the main character Hibiki (who reminds me of Yui from K-on!) will die right in the first scene which makes it a bit anticlimactic already, now its just a matter of how she dies and why in order to make up for it.
Not sure what the story is about yet, but it pretty much follows the activities of the two main characters: Miyagawa Atsushi and Miyagawa Atsumi who are brother and sister, but appearances can be deceiving. Atsushi, who looks like the older brother due to his mature look and height, is actually an 11 year-old boy and vice versa his sister Atsumi looks like a short 8 year-old sister but is actually 17. A great discovery was made when I started watching the show, people had thought it was going to be a series with full episodes but it ended up being a 3 minute long skit….(lol trolled).
It’s not rare for me or any anime-goer for that matter to watch an anime that will lightly touch upon the topic of friendship, whether it’s about the protagonist having some kind of power and uses it to protect his/her friends and comrades, or a group of friends performing activities they all enjoy together, or even romance between a couple since it is still a type of friendship, but what about a series focused on the characters trying to make friends?
Enter “Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai” (hereby referred to as “Haganai” for short), a 12 episode comedy anime series produced by AIC Build (the producers of OreImo) based on Hirasaka Yomi’s light novel under the same name. Simply put, the story revolves around our protagonist Hasegawa Kodaka who is a member of the so-called “Rinjinbu” (a.k.a The Neighbor’s Club) which is a club based on recruiting others that don’t have many or no friends at all, to band together and try to improve friendships with one another via club activities.
